And with Tonik plan rates beginning at about $130 a month, we are able to offer the type of coverage they are looking for at rates most young invincibles can afford."

Tonik originally launched in New Hampshire in 2004. Lisa Guertin added, "Our company asked young people what they were looking for in a health plan, and we listened. The end result is Tonik Health Insurance - a plan that makes it easy to understand the concepts and terminology associated with health insurance and provides easy access to a health insurance product they can relate to."

Tonik offers head to toe coverage that includes not only medical, but also dental and vision. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New Hampshire is offering three different Tonik plans with deductibles ranging from $1500 to $5000. All plans include co-pays for office visits and $10.00 co-pay for generic drug coverage. Prices vary by age, medical history, and place of residence. New Hampshire Tonik plans are available for anyone under the age of 65.
